Penallt Viaduct
The viaduct formerly carried the Wye Valley Railway over the Aron Gyw. The line opened on 1st November 1876 and closed to passenger trains in 1959, and to goods in January 1964.
It now connects the two villages. The old and now demolished station, just a little further down the line in Redbrook, won many awards for its flowers and decorations.
Tunnels once linking Redbrook to Monmouth and Coleford, now abandoned, can be found in Lord's Grove Woods in Upper Redbrook.
